Knapheide, one of the largest manufacturers in the U.S. of truck bodies, have recently introduced a new lineup of Aluminum Products available to our customers. Truck manufacturers have been constructing their cabs out of aluminum for several years now, and with Knapheide's innovation you can now have a truck body made of Aluminum too! We have many solutions available depending on your needs, including service bodies, crane bodies, platform bodies and gooseneck bodies. Below is an example of our first A698 Service Body (8 ft. body for a pickup-box delete). Knapheide's aluminum products offer tremendous weight savings and increased payload across the entire product line. Knapheide uses military grade T6 Aluminum on service and platform bodies which gives it strength and durability, and also is corrosion resistant.
